I believe your headlight is mounted on the bottom triple tree with a single bolt mount.
If that is the case the “Universal mount” should work.

Yes, the Cyclops headlight can fit your Yamaha VMax.
You need the Universal Headlight mount, which is sold separately.

You would need the Harley mount we offer (p/n E0121-C).
